Josephine Bellaccomo

Ms. Bellaccomo is a communications coach and author with 18 years experience training CxOs and corporate leadership to dramatically improve their ability to make winning presentations, engage in effective communication, develop deeper relationships and build cohesive & inspired teams.

 

Ms. Bellacomo is known for creating powerful change and lasting results for clients, from Wall Street to Silicon Valley. Some of Ms. Bellaccomo’s clients have included Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Capital One, Deloitte Consulting, KPMG, Microsoft, VMware, Razorfish, Universal McCann, and Random House.

 

Prior to joining Transformative, Ms. Bellaccomo led professional development and technical training at Microsoft Advertising, directed an extensive training project at New York City’s Human Resources Administration, coached leaders on strategic communication, and taught at Long Island University. She has led teams through organizational change, and designed several implementations focused on leading through uncertainty and helping teams manage the change curve.

 

In 2001, Ms. Bellaccomo founded Move The Message, a professional development training and consulting company, to continue partnering with her Fortune 500 clients as she focused on supporting social entrepreneurs, NGOs and social advocacy groups. Her more recent clients include The Packard Foundation and Bay Area Video Coalition. Ms. Bellaccomo’s specialties are pitching and presentation skills, leadership development and executive presence, media skills and business writing.

 

In her book, Move the Message: Your Guide to Making a Difference and Changing the World (Lantern Books 2004), Ms. Bellaccomo brings together her talent as an executive coach and her passion for social responsibility. Focusing on strategic communication skills, Move the Message was used at Columbia University’s Graduate School of International and Public Affairs in the course “Human Rights Advocacy.”
